Daisy finally moved so I was able to get a picture of her huge belly! Poor bunny.

Daisy's suffering
Daisy decided to eat an ENTIRE loaf of Challah bread while we were in another room. The picture above does not do justice on how big her stomach actually looks. We are now on bloat watch for the next couple of hours and hoping that she is going to be okay. She has not moved from this position in over 1/2 an hour. Periodically we hear gurgling from her stomach that actually sounds like a ginormous rumble.

The Proposal
Last night we went to see the movie, "The Proposal", with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. I thought two things going into it - 1) Total chick flick and 2) It was going to be one of those movies where all the funny parts are in the trailers. I was wrong on both counts. James liked the movie. He thought it was funny. There are more entertaining parts than are shown in the preview. Overall, I'm glad we went and we had a good time.
We also saw the trailer for "New Moon" the next movie in the Twilight series. I'd already seen it on the internet, but it was much better on the big screen. We also saw a trailer for a Bruce Willis movie called "Surrogates". It is about a future society where people can plug into a computer like contraption and "live" their lives via surrogate robots. It looked odd but interesting.

Shopping yesterday
I couldn't put off shopping any longer so I had to go to the store yesterday. I don't have the time to do a massive breakdown so I'll just give totals below. We have almost no meat so I had to use money for that and with my schedule, I don't have the time to cook anymore. Thus there is actual convenience food in the picture which I normally would not buy.
HEB:
Total before Q - $68.86
Total Q - $10.33
Total OOP - $58.53
I made a quick stop this morning at the same store to pick up some ice cream that was on sale, but that I couldn't talk myself into getting yesterday. While there this morning I found the 10 pack of Quaker granola bars (variety) on clearance for $1.33. Even though I didn't have my Q with me I bought them because I didn't know if there would be any left by the time I got back with my Q.
Total OOP this AM: $6.16

I tried something new!
Anyone who has gone anywhere with me knows that I am a "bum magnet". Any person down on their luck can immediately target me and start asking me for money or assistance, etc. Because of this I rarely do anything "public" by myself, even though I enjoy going places alone. Well today I tried some new stuff!
First, I went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast by myself. It was nice to just sit, read my book and eat without having to make conversation with someone.
The second/last, and even bigger thing, is that I rode the public transportation system ( a couple of city buses) in San Antonio, TX today. My mom and I were going to do some shopping after she got off work and she was going to have to drive all the way home to pick me up and then head back in the same direction, so I decided to try something new. I looked up my route online, got my exact change, called and told my mom what I was doing and took off. I got to the bus stop and sat down to wait. I only ended up waiting about 10 minutes for the bus, but during that time, on a hugely busy street, three separate trucks of rather scary looking males STOPPED in front of the bus stop to ask me if "I would like a ride?". That was the only majorly annoying part of the trip. The other slightly annoying tidbit was when I got on the bus for the first time I had read that I needed to ask the driver for a transfer slip. Apparently the bus service charges an extra $0.15 for a little piece of paper and that bit of info did not make it to the website yet. Of course I didn't have the exact change so I ended up paying $0.25 (not a big deal I know, but it was the idea of it). The rest included a transfer at a transit center to a second bus, and then a short walk to my destination. I am really proud of myself for trying and succeeding at this!!! Who knows what will be next!
